The jewelry created through my studies emerges from an exploration of techniques: it begins with discovering their possibilities without knowing the eventual outcome. In the mosaic of different metals, I explore the potential of joining wires or sheets and shaping them, allowing the final object to reflect the play of construction. Designing an invisible closure for a brooch requires leveraging the deformability of the fabric that will embrace it, or creating completely invisible hinges achieved without welding, relying solely on the properties of the metal such as the elasticity of steel and the malleability of silver. Transforming a found object into a piece of jewelry involves seeing beauty in items designed for a specific function, meant to be concealed.
